The Holiday Season has arrived! HSiMS visited the Appletree Early Learning PCS - Columbia Heights Campus in Washington, DC to spread some cheer and read The 12 Days of Christmas to preschool class.

AND in true HSiMS we had gifts in tow! The students received a trinket for each day and ended the session with 12 different items as well as a stocking to put it all in! But that’s not all… the teachers received gifts too! A special thanks goes out to Mr. Daunte Hill who served as our liaison to ensure things went off without a hitch! His relationship with other our organization as well as the students was the Elmer’s glue that helped put this together along with our Director of Community Outreach, Katrina Strand.

It was a joy and pleasure to serve and fellowship with them today. What an awesome start to the holidays; after all THIS is the reason for the season!
