How It Began...
In 2020, Founder and CEO, Michelle Dowleyne had a vision. She realized that many women were suffering in silence and needed to know that they were not alone. She knew that they needed a place to feel safe, to share, and talk about their trials. Today, women all over the nation share stories of life skills and inspire through their journies to help transform lives for women and girls worldwide.
Here at Her Story is My Story, Inc., we see the value in everyone. We want to be catalysts for positive change. Since our beginnings in 2020, we’ve been driven by the ideas we initially founded our organization upon; Support, Empowerment, and Progress. We are driven to help women see their worth and value. Everyone deserves to have peace and happiness and - most importantly - know that they are not alone. Her Story is My Story Inc. implements events so that women can share their stories and begin to heal and grow.
Our Mission
Her Story is My Story, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit whose mission is to empower women by educating them with mental and financial knowledge to be more robust pillars of our communities. To encourage them to recognize and activate their self-worth and value. To inspire women to live and foster a life of
transformation through workshops, networking events, brunches, podcasts, and - ultimately - sharing their stories and healing from the inside.

We envision a world where every woman realizes her inner beauty and strength. We endeavor to inspire women to know they can overcome obstacles and thrive. By empowering women to embrace themselves and the experiences that have contributed to their life's journey, we strive to help strengthen families and the communities that they are a part of.
